Welcome Week 2010!


Hey All! That time of year is coming up once again. Of course I'm talking about Welcome Week with plenty of events going on, you've got a wide range of choices to keep your first week of the school year occupied with plans. I'm here to tell you what we here at Collegiate Ministry have got going on during Welcome Week 2010.



Tuesday, September 21st


We'll start off Welcome Week on Tuesday with an open house for theHouse (2715 Clifton ave.) to come and check out our ministry's home on UC's campus. Then come back to theHouse for a cookout and have a nice dinner and meet people!

3:00pm Explore theHouse and Meet the Staff.
@theHouse Explore our UC home and meet the people who help keep the ministry running.

6:06pm Grilling 'n Chillin Cookout.
@theHouseCome for free food and meet new people.



Wednesday, September 22nd


The first day of classes, Wednesday, we'll have free breakfast for passers by as long as our stock holds out.

7:30am Free Breakfast on Mainstreet.

Thursday, September 23rd


Thursday, we have evening activities for you. We have a worship service that meets every Thursday throughout the school year, and afterwards we have a game of Ultimate Frisbee.

7:07pm CrossWalk Worship.
@TUC400 Meets every Thursday during the school year.

Friday, September 24th


On Friday night, we'll be having our infamous Midnight Pancake Breakfast. This is our 10th annual Free Pancake Breakfast, so come and celebrate.

Midnight to 2:00am Saturday 10th Annual Free Pancake Breakfast.

Saturday, September 25th


Saturday, we are having a game watching party at theHouse. Start time is still TBA, but we'll update you when we get it set.



Sunday, September 26th


Sunday morning, we've got church accommodations. We'll have rides to various churches in the area. This is great if you do not have a church yet and are looking for one in the area.

9:00am Let's Go To Church!
@theHouse Meet up at theHouse to get a ride to a church with other students.
